Professor Armenia Androniceanu has founded the Administratie si Management Public/Administration and Public of Management Review in 2003. She is the Head of the International Centre for Public Management, the Faculty of Administration and Public Management of the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania. Other former positions: Head of the Public Policy Department, Central Romanian Government Office, Government of Romania; Advisor of the National Agency of Civil Servants and General Director of the Structural Government Reforms Program, Prime Minister Chancellery, Government of Romania working in cooperation with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

She introduced public management in the Romanian university curriculum in 1994 and in 1996, taught the first public management course at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Bucharest, Romania. Other new courses introduced by Professor Androniceanu in the university curriculum are comparative public administration, the management of public services, the civil service and civil servants, the management of international intergovernmental organizations, the management of change and innovation, and others.

She has published over 30 books and over 300 articles and has coordinated numerous academic research and consulting projects for public and private sector organizations in Romania and abroad.

Professor Androniceanu’s scientometric indicators (2021) are 13 - Hirsh Index in Web of Science/Clarivate Analytics; 18 – Hirsh Index in SCOPUS, and 26 – Hirsh Index in Google Academic, and more than 2660 citations in the international literature.
